About Us
Hi, I’m Mike Parnos.
Many of you may know me from the “Couch Potato Trader” column that I wrote for OptionInvestor.com for over six years – and am now writing for my brand new service – the Mike Parnos Option Newsletter. You’re likely here because of my impressive portfolio track record of profitable months.
Others may know me from the articles I’ve had published in SFO (Stocks, Futures & Options Magazine). Plus, my articles have appeared in various other publications and on sites throughout the internet.
My goal is to educate — and entertain. I write about various conservative non-directional strategies that traders can use to generate a monthly cash flow. This isn’t brain surgery, but it takes a willingness to study and to focus. It also takes some self-discipline to implement the strategies — both in entering and exiting the trades.
For those who want to speed up the learning curve, I present seminars around the country — about 5-6 per year. These seminars are for serious traders only — not for beginners.
The two-day seminar is for intermediate to advanced traders who are looking to broaden their knowledge base of these “hands off” non-directional strategies and who want to hone their trading skills and treat trading as a business.
It’s a great two-day experience — full of information and fun. Those of you who know me know that I have a strange sense of humor. I hope you’re not particularly sensitive. I believe it’s easier to absorb and digest this material with a smile on your face.
Those of you who may be new to options should check out the articles in my “Education” section. They will take you, one article at a time, from the very beginning through the intermediate level. Even if you think you know the basics, a little review never hurts. You should be able to achieve a reasonable understanding of option trading — enough so that you would certainly benefit from attending my seminars.
If, as you read the articles, you have specific questions, feel free to contact me. I’ll try to respond in a timely fashion. Always include your full name, email and your phone number. It’s often easier for me to call you to answer your question than to type a lengthy email.
